The Hokies are proud to house "The Skipper" cannon on Upper Quad between the dorms of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.  The roar of "The Skipper" is a well-known sound of victory to the entire Hokie Nation.

Ross Tudor, Laura Spizzano, and Hayley Salyer are working on a project in Shanks Hall.  First and foremost, Hokies are students.  While cheering to the sound of "The Skipper" is an intricate part of life, so is learning.  Every true Hokie works diligently on course assignments, so that they may be educated in their craft.
